i have a 1996 kawasaki zxi 900 jet ski......

i want to rid the jet ski of all of the gage dash wiring & simplify things..... anyone done this before, i will cover the round gage holes with a custom varnished piece of wood.....

i want to be rid of all the excess wiring.......

The gauges are integral with the CDI unit as they monitor oil and water temps. I don't think that the ski will function without them.All are fed through the trim motor first on the red/gray wire wire and then out to the Main fuse block in the CDI enclosure on the orange wire which goes to a junction block connector under the dash above the gas tank.The power for all your gauges are fed from this point but also run to the cdi unit where they get their information as to fuel,oil and water temperature conditions.. I will post the wiring diagram for you.It's for the 1100 but should be the same for the 900
