Jet ski blues--2007 Kawasaki STX15F

Looking for advice. My jet ski ran perfectly last summer, I did not winterize and my first trip to the lake this year I experienced problems. I am guessing due to not winterizing, but unsure. I stored ski in my garage with vehicles all winter, never reached a freezing temp or had any weather.
My problem, put it on the water, it started right up. After about 10-15 min of riding, it began stalling when running at lower RPMs. Soon, it would only start once in a while and run at half or full throttle...if you went below about 15mph it would stall. I thought it might be a stale fuel problem, so I kept trying to restart and just run out the stale fuel (I had added about half a tank of new fuel). Eventually, after slowing and it dying, I ran the battery dead trying to start. I read on some other forums to try adding Sta-Bil marine fuel stablizer and see if the problem would resolve. I did manage to start for brief periods of time today out of the water, but was cautious not to let it run for more than 15 sec or so two or three times. I am hoping that the addition of fuel stablizer will help the problem...but I have to recharge battery and get it back on the water to try and make this happen. Any other ideas on what might be going on before I go pay the dealership big money?

I think your ski is fuel injected or I'd say there is junk in your carbs. Try running some fuel injector cleaner thru it. It is possible the fuel filter is plugged too.
