Default Can't restart a warm 650 TS jet ski

The ski starts fine every time but after the engine runs for a while and is shutdown for 10 minutes or so it won't restart, the starter can barly turn the motor over. Then after about 15 minutes or so it will start fine,

Vapor lock???

Please help the wife is scared to death to gide the thing for fear it will leave her stranded.

After engine is warmed up and shut down, I understood you to say it won't start after 10 minutes. What happens immediately after it shuts down? Will it start? I'm curious what it does from 0 minutes to 10 minutes after it is shut down.

Yes it will start right after I turn it off, but after 10 minutes it won't start and is difficult to turn over. During this time the hose is still connected to the ski and turned on. I'm wondering if the water is being forced into the motor causing the high compression.

Your thoughts?

Thanks,

Roy
