650 TS acceleration problem
works good at idle, and even at fast idle, and then I really add gas, and it sound like the impeller is spinning, or sucking air.
I get it going up on a plain and then bang it just acts normal for fast running. I don't see the problem untill i slow way down again. Looked at the impeller and all seems fine there. Can this be a Carb or reed problem? I have never touched the reed for 14 years. 1991 650TS |
RE: 650 TS acceleration problem
Changed the spark plugs out.
Look at the reed, it look OK, so just put it back in (With new gaskets). So reed was ok. It seems to run fine now. Will run gas completly out, and refill with 93 Octane, as I did have 87 in there from the lawn mower gas supply. Also will run with the GPS to see if my top end is still 33 MPH (Thats the top end I had 10 years ago, and I have added no modes for power.):) |
RE: 650 TS acceleration problem
Plugs and gas make a huge difference, exspecially on something that sits a winter at a time.... Glad she's running better for you. :D
