So I bought a brand new 2021 Kawasaki 2021 STX 160lx and took it out on the lake and put 2 hours on it. When I flushed it it I noticed there was no water coming out of the side ports. Water was coming out of the back like it should be. I only ran the flush for about 45 seconds and decided to shut off the water and rev a few times before turning off engine. Right after I did I got the red warning light, beeping, and the words heat warning on the display. I bought the extended warranty for 4 years but apparently that doesn't cover this as Kawasaki said this is a maintenance issue. So my question is, what do you guys think is wrong? I'm hoping my decision to get a Kawi instead of a Yamaha was a good one...
