1999 STX 900 Fuel leak

I have a 1999 STX 900 that I bought about 5 years ago. The previous owner had already upgraded the choke to a primer but it is still hard to start when cold. This weekend (first time out this summer) I noticed that there is a fuel leak somewhere. I can see fuel dripping from the throttle cable where it attached to the carb. My first thought is that the fuel lines are 18 years old and probably just need to be replaced. Is there anything else I should change or look for while I am in there? Any carb gaskets or diaphragms that need to be changed?
