want to change swingarm on 82 kz1000J
 

I am picking up a 1982 KZ1000J in a few weeks. I would like to run a fatter rear tire. I have seen some talk here about changing swingarms. I want to know what is a good drop in option for the 82 1000?
is it the Suzuki gs1000 swingarm or will a ZRX swing swap right in? any help or suggestions are welcome.
btw a 160 to 180 width tire would be excellent.

I know I've seen this topic brought up on www.kzrider.com before. To be honest, I don't think anybody here will have an answer for you. The members on this forum tend to ride newer ninjas, or KLX/KLR models.

Good luck with your search. Like I said, give kzrider a try. There are a ton of knowledgeable KZ riders there.;)

I had to check out that forum as well. Never thought about changing out the swingarm on the kz before.
