Default Gpz 550 convert to 750.. help!

I have a 1982 gpz 550 and the engine let go. I wanted to to play with the bike a little. The question is will a gpz 750 engine fit in the 550 frame with no modifications? Or will i have to modify the frame, which i dont want to do. before i go looking for a 750 engine i wanted to ask and see if anyone knew. Thanks

Pete

The '85-89 gpz 5 and 6 are the same, according to the factory service manual. Not seeing an engine dimension between that engine and the '84-03 gpz900 engine for comparison. Not sure if I have anything on the 750 though either
