zx9 swap
 

I dropped a 03 engine in my 99. Everything was perfect EXCEPT the 03 doesn't have a cam sensor boss in the head. At first I thought it was for the tach only and i could work around that, but after the install was complete I realized my coils had a constant 12v in and out. They are not getting the interuption needed to fire. I thought the crank trigger would have handled the firing but it doesn't look that way. I also noticed the crank trigger wheel was much different between the two. I need help with this. I may just need a cdi from an 03 or maybe the whole harness. Any tips??????
