ZX-6e stalling

Hi all, I'm new to these forums. I just moved from a 250R up to a 200 zx-6, which I'm having problems with. About once a day, as I'm braking after brisk acceleration, the engine will stall. At night, I can tell that every time I hit my brakes, the headlight dims considerably. Everything else seems to run fine. The bike starts up everytime, and even when it stalls, it will start immediately while moving or not. It just seems like someone hit the kill switch. I've checked all of the electrical connections I could find and cleaned the battery terminals. Do you guys thinks it's electrical or fuel? I just bought the bike used, 2 weeks ago, with 9,000 mi. on it. Any help would be appreciated.

That should be easy.... I had a Suzuki SV1000s Do the samething
when I replaced the battery....Check all of you connections to yur
Batt, mk sure they are clean and tight... See if that fixes it ....!

I cleaned the terminals and they are on good and tight. I've checked all the connections I can find. Would the fuel pump cutting out act like this, or would the bike bog and surge like running out of gas. I'm not used to carbs but it seems that my stalling happens after accelerating briskly (hasn't happened in normal driving) and then braking hard. It happened once without the braking as I shifted into 5th. The oil light immidiately comes on when it stalls so it seems to be either a short that fixes itself immidiately, or a kill switch.

How does she start and warm up? Always have to choke and does she idle well? After warm up where does she idle at?

She has new oil + filter, new plugs, new air filter, new battery. I live in Florida, so it starts up fine with or without choke. I usually choke it in the morning for about a minute, just to get revs steady. I took the bike to the dealer for new clutch cable and had him check it out.... stumped. He said maybe since it happens w/ hard braking, that some fuel is sloshing and flooding plugs.... what? It starts back up immidiately! Thankyou for all the help.

When in doubt..... Set fire to it and collect ins.

have you had your carbs syniced yet? It all most sounds like the bike is flooding out after you ride it hard and come to a stop. Maybe one of the carbs is sticking open dumming to much fuel in the bike causing it to flood a little. Or maybe you running to rich or too lean. Sorry not to much help i guess just brain storming a little for you maybe one of these is your problem.

Sounds electrical. You might have a blown fues. With a blown fuse the power is looking to go somewhere so it would ground to the next closest thing.
