Default Removing High Temp Silicone

After securing my muffler last night with high temp silicone, it occured to me, that soon that can is going to have to come out as I carry out some additional mods on the bike.

How easy / hard is it to remove the application of high temp silicone, that I applied last night, later down the road?

Surely you'll have to remove it completely to be able to re-apply a new good seal.

Just wondering.. Google isn't coming up with anything.

Not something I'd trust on a silencer. It usually peels off pretty easy once it's set. Just use a sharp blade to lift it.

agreed, the silicone is easy enough to scrape off.
