Rear break repair
 

Hey guys I’m a new member here and I’m unhappy to say I had a fall on my 05 zx6r, breaking my foot peg and rear break pedal! I can place my foot on the remaining half of the peg but the rear brake pedal is hanging...Sooo guys, I was wondering how hard would it be for me to replace both parts or should I just take it to the bike shop? I found the brake pedal for $73. I want to get back on the road ASAP.

Welcome to the forums....

It's not hard. A bolt and a spring. You can do it yourself easy.

Go to kawasaki's website and they will have an online schematic that should help ya out if you are unsure.

ya it is really easy to do...broke my brake pedal once...not saying how it happened:D but it was easy to do maybe about 10 min time

Ya, they are all right. I have ordered a lot of small stuff, IE: dash bulbs, etc...... And have had no probs.
