Default rattling sound and wobbling at speed

kawasaki zx6r 2002. when i 1st bought the bike it didnt have these problems and happend as i rode for 2 months. the thing is that my friend told me i should get it fixed asap before it gets worse, but im not sure how serious the problem is.

bike has weird little rattling sound when its on low rpms or in neutral, but on higher rpm cant really hear it. it might be valve timing problem. how much would it cost to fix this?

The bike wobbles at high speed, around 100mph..

Welcome Is the rattle coming from the engine or from the fairing area?

As for the wobble, could be anything really. I would start off easy and work my way up. Wobble could be worn tires, out of balance tires, headbearings gone bad. Is it going into a tankslapper or is there just a wobbling feeling in the handle bars?

the rattling sound is from the engine i can hear it as its on neutral and rattles as i rev the engine, but in high rpms, its barely audible.

the wobbling is like the whole bike wobbles and vibrates and as i accelerate harder, it wobbles even more

have you changed the oil recently? when there is fresh oil in the engine is the rattle just as bad?
Could be valves, those are fairly easy to check..If you do not have a shop manual, def get one.

Have you checked the chain? adjustment/tight spot/etc...
Have you supported the bike, and free spun the front and rear wheels?

I'm not positive, but the cam chain might be on the left side. Is the noise coming from the left or right. If it is the cam chain, it may not have adjusted itself yet.

Been on the right side since 1991 Z ie next to cylinder #4, except for the 7s model which was still in the center if I recall correctly.

But yes, could be plastics coming loose, generator whirl, actually a lot of possibilities on the noise. Check your front axle for the correct torque and your brakes.

Cool On both of mine, the cam chain is on the left. They have the same motor so could be an 1100 thing. My 82 GPz was in the center. yjsjin, You may need to get a close listen and try to figure out where the noise is and diagnose from there.
