Default Nomad Stalling

Bought the Nomad 3 mos ago. I have been having problems where the motorcycle stalls within moments of riding it. Initially this would only happen once and then I would restart it and it would be ok. Now it stalls approx 5 times within the first two minutes of riding it. I have tried warming the engine longer but that has no effect and it has never stalled while idling. Could you please make any suggestions for me to look at? It almost feels like a gas problem but again it never stalls when idling and stops stalling after approx 2-3 minutes of riding.Your help is appreciated,

I may be wrong, but it sounds like it might be a carburetor float problem. Do you turn your gas off after every ride? (Maybe a bit ****, but that way you're sure there's no fuel flowing, and it's one more thing thieves would have to fool with.) Just as a suggestion, try draining your bowls, then turning gas on for about 5-8 minutes. Try to start it (might be reluctant, but give it a few minutes.) This will "re-set" your floats. Then, get in the habit of turning your petcock off.
Like I said, it may not fix it, but it's what I'd try first, based on your report.

Does it have a hard time idling right at start up? What I mean is, does it idle extremely low and rough? Maybe you just need to set the idle up a little.
