Hey guys,
I am new to this forum and I am also new to kawasaki's. I recently bought a 93 zx7 with around 28k on it for 700 bucks. The bike needed a new front brake line, some lights and some other odds and ends. The guy was converting it to a street fighter and then ran out of money so it is primered and doesnt have any plastics on it. I got everything taken care of to make it road worthy. Here is my problem, The bike is a complete dog up until around7 or 8 thousand rpms after which it begins to pull pretty strong(almost like a turbo kicks in) but below that I think my girlfriends dodge neon is faster
. Anybody ever had this problem before? I am coming from a CBR 600 that other than routine maintenance never had a problem. Any help would be appreciated.
