Default New Chain/Sprocket set?

So im thinking i may need a new Chain & Sprockets for this

season. I bought the bike used at...11k miles on it & i put...3k

miles on last summer.

From my understanding, this isn't alot of miles for a stock

chain but IMO my sprockets look chewed up & the chain seems

stretched out.

Here is what im looking at buying...

RK kit:

applications/kawasaki/zzr-600-2005-2008/sprocket-chain-kits/rk-

20-000-mile-warranty-525-steel-sprocket-chain-kit-kawasaki-zx-

OR

SUPERLITE Kit:

-superlite-rs7-steel-sprocket-set-with-your-choice-of-525-x-

ring-chain-kawasaki-zzr-600-05-08.html

AND

Chain Breaker and Rivet Tool:

Page Not Found - Cycle Gear

Tools/brand/STOCKTON-TOOL-COMPANY/Chain-Breaker-and-Rivet-Tool-

Kit/p/36518_00000

Any imput on IF these are Good/Ok kits to use & or what you

would recomend. & also if the Breaker/rivit tool is good.

PS. How do i upload pictures? DOES It haVE to be an incredibally

small file size? I took pictures with my phone OF my

chain/sprockets & they r 5Mb large each....

Chain adjuster position doesn't mean jack.

Your rear sprocket looks worn but a straight on side view reveals more.

To me that sprocket is gone. I can only assume from the heavy lateral shaving of the rear sprocket, the chain was not adjusted correctly. So why not start fresh like you are thinking.

I love my supersprox and DID setups. Just something to check out.

Double check your hub cushions for excess slack while you are in there.

As far as the chain goes, i know i have to adjust the slack. Its got about an 1" of play in it. & last season, a large friend of mine (350+lbs) rode the bike & I could hear the chain slap as he bounced along the road.
The sprockets still have flats on each tooth but IMO the sides DO look worn. Maybe i should bight the bullet & get a new set just for peace of mine.
