Need Help with my 07 zzr600 trans forks
Need Help with my 07 zzr600 trans forks? if anyone knows how to take out the shift forks from the oil pan you will make my day i heard it can be done if i can get some pics or info that would be awesome.

not sure if you can?
if it doiesn't look like you can from under the bike, then you probably.. simply can't.
as well, if you're replacing forks, it's always a good idea to go thru the trans VERY closely and inspect everything.. there was a reason they're fugged up..
if they took something else out in the process of failing 9or were taken out by something..) then you're fuct if you throw it together with an unforseen problem in existence.
as an engine builder, i like a thorough job done.. regardless of how small a failure had been and what it was.

I have not messed with that yet. But according to page 9-26 of the 04 6r manual, it looks possible.
Clutch removal, Oil Pan, External Shift Mechanism Removal, Gear Positioning Lever, Shift Rod bolt removal, Shift Drum Bearing Holder, then the shift rods to take off the shift forks , and pull out the shift drum with bearing. (copied out of my factory manual).
Hit up your parts fiche for a good break down of the parts. There may be a manual listed in the general discussion area as well.
