Need help klx 250 , KK330 kit

I have bought a 2011 klx 250 ( fuel injected type) with a Kustom Kraft 330 kit installed. Bike has been converted to slider carb (PWK) type 34 mm with a main jet of 118 size. Ecu is gone and replaced by a Suzuki CDI shogun type.
this klx may have been submarined hence ECU missing. Altitude here is pretty much sealevel , tropical hot as is in Indonesia. Bike has open air box with KN air filter.
idle is good , up to half throttle bike is strong and smooth, 3/4 to full throttle engine bogs down all gears. Spark plug is black, remove air filter no change. Have checked valve timing is ok. I have changed jetting between 135 main jet and 112 sizes no change to mention .
I suspect that the CDI fitted is not suitable and that the rev limiter is kicking in at about 8000 8500 rpm not sure as tachometer does not display.
original Klx 250 CDI are very rare here as most klx 250 are fuel injected using the ECU from Kawasaki.

my question is this has anyone fitted a programmable CDI to a klx 250 ? If so what type?
Also should I use one that has say 4 degrees of retard to 4 degrees of advance ( adjustable ) . I have the ignition curve to programme the CDI . Any help would be much appreciated as it is doing my head in ... I'm not a mechanic but I can work through things re bike maintenance.

thanking you in advance
Mike

Don't know about CDI units, but black plug says way rich on jetting. Mid range will be needle adjustment, dropping the needle (clip on a higher notch). Main has some effect, but needle covers where you're having problems as well.

Peak power from Kawasaki comes in around 8600, so rev limiter may or may not be right. Stock can rev 10,000, about 1500 rpm over rev past peak HP. But again, I have no idea on programmable CDI.

I am sure others will respond, but consider copying and putting another thread in the KLX250S section to maybe get more viewers.
