06, are you planning on drag racing?
(The followingrant isnot directed at you, 06; it's just my kneejerk reaction.)
I've seen alot of guys lower their bikes, stretch their swingarms, strap the front end, install way oversized tires, and do just about everything to mess-up the geometry of their bikes. Sure, it may be acceptable for a specific purpose, like drag racing or looking cool, but if you seriously screw with the chassis and then (foolishly) think it will be an even better canyon carver, you'll find yourself in a ditch somewhere. It's OK to upgrade/dial-in suspension. It's OK to get premium rubber and parts which do their specific job more effectively. It's another thing to take the design geometry outside of the range it was made for, especially if you don't have that much experience on bikes. (Maybe "because of?") The factory engineers are not idiots. Riding in a straight line is one thing; riding in the curves is a whole different math department. Just be careful, guys and gals. (I know, I know[sm=violin.gif])
Having said that, have you tried raising the forks/lowering the triple?

it will be nothing but a drag/show bike after about another month. i am gonna stretch it 6 inches, 240 rear, and slam it. i have the 636 to take out and drag my knee.

Lowering the front is easier than lowering the rear. 6 pinch bolts not including the clip ons and a tape measure.
Each to their own vices, the 10r is a nice carver though. Good luck on your Drag bike.
