so i lost my keys a couple days ago and i just went to the dealership this morning to get one cut...they told me i had to take out the igntion and bring it up to them...so my problem is...how do you take out the ignition...he said to just take out the igntion part...not with the clamp...could someone possibly help me on this. i have a 04 zx6r 636

 

I am not sure, a picture would help, but I believe you will need to remove the tripple tree.

 

I would think that with the VIN# they would be able to retrieve the key code.

 

that is exactly what i figured...a guyat plano kawasaki said if it was that easy then everyone would be doing it....whatever that meant...but i am going to work on it later tonight.

i found this from a 05...but the dealer told me i had to drilll out the bolts and replace them with new bolts when i put it back together.
