Leaking fuel - '82 Kaw. KZ 550 LTD

I apologize now if this is a stupid question, but this is my first bike, so I know nothing yet. Anyway, I took the bike out for it's first real trip (not just around town) and went about 10 miles before I stopped at Wal-Mart. When I went back out to the bike, I started it up (leaving it leaning on the side stand) and let it run for a second while I got ready to leave. Right before I got on it, I noticed there was fuel leaking out one of the plastic lines coming from the carbs. Does that mean the float's sticking? On the way back, it also seems to load up a little at lower speeds, but overall doesn't do too bad. If anyone knows what this is/might be, please let me know. This is going to be my main form of transportation now since my car's broke down for at least a month (until payday). Thanks.

Rick

Got some pics to help us. Also are sure it was the line or just fule geting on it? Check your float bowl seals, may be time to replace.

I don't have any pics right now, but I'm going to try to check and make sure the one (or more) of the floats isn't sticking. If it continues, I'll take pics and post them with an update.
