Hey folks, hope you can help me figure this out cause I'm having no luck. 2001 kx 250 i'm doing some work on for a friend. Ordered new rear pads for it, and from what I can tell, should be the same pads for a 125 or 250 from the late 80's up to 2004. Even my service manual shows those pads. Those pads are bigger than the rear caliper by a significant amount, like way bigger. Seems like it should be a dual piston rear caliper, but this is a single piston caliper. It has Nissin cast right into it just like the front caliper which is dual piston. The pads that came out of it were almost square, 1 3/4"W x 1 5\8"H and almost look home-made, no clue. I'll add a pic when I get a chance. Thanks for reading and I'll appreciate any help or thoughts you can offer.
side note- also trying to track down a plastics bolt kit, UFO has a kit but can't find stock anywhere. Also 2 exhaust isolators(frame to muffler bolts) with hardware

So I think I have it figured out. Thanks to youtube, found a guy rebuilding a kx 125 caliper from a 1990 model and it's the same caliper I'm working with and that led me to the correct pads. I guess whatever came out was home made. Still not sure why a 2001 bike has an older style caliper though. Here's the right pads. Thanks for reading
