Key for gas tank - Tengai 650
Hi everyone, new member here.
I just purchased this bike and the owner did not have the key for the gas tank. He gave me the key for the ignition but it does not work on the gas cap. How di I get it opened to switch the cylinder? Do I just bring it to a locksmith? Sorry for the stupid question but it's my first bike in over 20 years....

Welcome to the forums JohnC! Congratulations on your new purchase. I'm not sure what course of action that you should take with regards to the key - maybe try calling one of the dealerships or a locksmith and see what they think.

Welcome to the forums John! You should be able to go to a locksmith and have the gas tank rekeyed to the ignition. If they can't do this, then you'll have to go to the Dealer and get another gas cap set. You may get lucky and find one for your bike on eBay too.
