Default KE 100 lights question

Hi all, I just got a 96 KE 100 , had been sitting for some time , got the carb and tank cleaned out and she's running pretty good. got a stupid question about the lights, the blinkers come on when you turn on the left or right switch, but dont blink and also they don't glow with the headlight , is this right or could there be a fuse bad some where? Any other advice appreciated , been a while since had a two stroke . thanks - Tom

Sounds like a fuse is out or your flasher unit is bad. A friend of mine's wife is actually looking for a bike exactly like that. Tell me how fast can you go on it? She's a small gal, so she was wondering if it will do 55? Thanks man. Oh and welcome to the forums.

Check and make sure that the bulbs are of the correct wattage, check your electrical connections (unplug, inspect and tighten), then look at your relay/flasher. (Was checking out my 76 KE manual and it only showed the relay.)

Fun little bike , top speed with me at 200lbs looks like 50. got it for my son , but I'll probably play on it too.

any idea where the flasher/relay might be , inside the headlight maybe? , dont see one under the seat. found two fuses under the seat but they checked fine.

thanks
Tom

Not sure about the location of the flasher, but I would start behind the light first. Follow one of the turn signal wires to see where it goes.
