Default Jetting for Wiseco 810 in ZR750 ...

While replacing a leaky base gasket, I've decided to install a Wiseco 810 kit into my mint '91 ZR750 (Zephyr). Bike is ALL stock except for a K&N drop-in replacement air filter (and some Progressive springs). I want to keep the bike stock appearing, so the OEM exhaust and carbs are staying.

Given the above, I know the increase of 72cc will require some re-jetting of the carbs. I've got a DynoJet kit (includes Stage 1 & 2) coming. WHAT do you recommend as far as jetting? Dynojet recommends I remove the air cleaner lid and follow the Stage 2 directions.

What'd ya think? Any of you have any thoughts on the topic or have done this mod? If so, drop me an email.
Thanks in advance!
Doug

I am using Dynojet in my 1200 and I am very satisfied. The techs are usualy right on so follow what they say and see how it does.

c10 ... You were right about the Dynjet kits. Just picked up my '91 ZR750 this morning with its 72 more cc's and it purrs, even when cold. My engine builder followed what the Dynojet techs recommended ... that is, use the Stage 2 jetting and remove the stock airbox lid with a K&N filter ... and the bike runs flawless thru all the rpm ranges. Just got back from a 55 mile "break-in" and I can't believe the roll-on pull in 4th and 5th gears! What a difference the (almost) 10% more displacement makes. In fact, with the extra torque it has now, I felt the OEM factory clutch (with 27.5K miles) slip in the upper gears.

So that leads to my next question:
What's a good replacement clutch for a ZR750 that's been bumped to 810cc's???

Other than the clutch slippage, I think I'm gonna like my "sleeper" ZR810!
