i just noticed today that there is a small tube/hose hangin from the bottom of my bike. its comes out around the exhaust, im not sure if its belongs there or is supposed to connect to something. anyone know what this might be

 

Overflow tube for your fuel perhaps?

 

do all bikes have overflow tubes?

 

I would have to say yes due to the fact that if you over fill your tank the little extra gas has to go some where.

 

a couple other options. My battery has an overflow tube, that directs any sloshing acid to the road as opposed to inside the battery box. of course the other end connects to the battery. also mine has a small tube coming from the intake surge tank. I'm not sure what that one is for. my fuel overflow tubes go from the top of the carbs over the surge tank and point down on to the top of my transmission.

i think it probally is just a overflow tube for the gas tank cause it goes all the way up to the back of the tank. maybe i just never looked before. thanks for your help guys
