Default Engine wont turn over when warm

I have a 2007 zx6r, the bike starts and runs fine when cold, and will run fine until I turn it off. When I try to start it, when warm, it turns over slowly a few rotations, then the starter just clicks (acts like a dead battery). The battery is 12.3v when bike is off, 14.2v when bike is running. I have changed the battery, charged it overnight, and have tried jump starting it, to no avail. The bike will always roll off, very easy, warm or cold, and runs great, but if I turn it off with no hill around, I'm stuck.

You need to make sure you have good connections and no corrosion and your starter solenoid could be a little weak.

I have checked with an ohm meter and a voltmeter, no resistance between starter case and negative terminal on battery, and no voltage drop between positive terminal on starter when the starter solenoid is pulled in and on battery, I am thinking that maybe the starter itself is going bad. I removed the starter clutch, and spun the starter with no load. It spins up fine, on fully charged battery, but will kill the battery within 30 sec. I haven't checked the no load amp draw of the starter, yet. Any idea what the no load amp draw should be?

Update: I found the official Kawasaki service manual for the 07 zx6r online, and disassembled the starter as per the manuals instructions. I was surprised by what I saw. The stationary magnets inside the starter, had crumbled to many very small pieces, I am surprised that the starter worked at all, very odd! Off to find a new starter...
