Default EFI DFI

I was doing a little research for my first ninja and I saw the 03/04 use EFI's and the 05/06 use DFI's What are the difference between these types of fuel injectors? Do you have to still choke an EFI bike?

Let me know!

no, a choke plate comes down with a small hole in to allow less air, and more fuel, no ones used this in decades, we all use a Enrichner circuit, i know the **** said choke but it was not a choke not even close, the EFI bike that had anyhing remotly close to this was the 2002 Zx12r, it had a fast idle adjustment on the left side clipon

Right on. To me an enrichener circuit is the same as a choke. Maybe not correct, but there ya go. That is why the Q

Sorry Kawi calls the DFI (Digital Fuel injection), not direct sorry that was my mistake now the diffrence is marketing stand point, dfi,and efi are the same thing use Iap, ap, to, fuel injectors, and ecm, its just a way of kawi getting you the customer to be like woo a new DFI bike i need that,

Update
bump

there is actually a difference between EFI DFI. EFI works just like a carbureter only it's an injector. The DFI injects directly to the piston... it's not just a gimmick.

Then why does Kawi call it DFI then? The injectors are in the throttle body.

[edit] Multi-point fuel injection
Multi-point fuel injection injects fuel into the intake port just upstream of the cylinder's intake valve, rather than at a central point within an intake manifold, referred to as SPFI, or single point fuel injection. MPFI systems can be sequential, in which injection is timed to coincide with each cylinder's intake stroke, batched, in which fuel is injected to the cylinders in groups, without precise synchronisation to any particular cylinder's intake stroke, or Simultaneous, in which fuel is injected at the same time to all the cylinders.

[edit] Direct injection
Many diesel engines feature direct injection (DI). The injection nozzle is placed inside the combustion chamber and the piston incorporates a depression (often toroidal) where initial combustion takes place. Direct injection diesel engines are generally more efficient and cleaner than indirect injection engines. See also High-pressure Direct Injection (HDi) .
