Default Clutch issues..... help!!!!

I seem to recall a post about this but i can't find the darn thing so i'm sorry if it's a re-post.... i helped a buddy of mine change his oil last night on his 636.... we had to buy a new pan and drained the bike..... as we were disposing of the oil i always strain it to see if there are any flakes or anything inside.... as we strained his oil we found three small pebble size pieces... at first i thougt it was pebbles, upon further examination it looked like a white sort of ceramic type peices.... my first thought was the friction plate or clutch but i'm no mechanic or anything..... if anyone has ideas please help.....

Are you 100% positive that the container was completly clean when you drained your oil in it?
