Default Carb Cleaner Bad for Plastic Nipples?

The Keihin CVK carb from my KLX250S has two black plastic elbows/nipples that according to the exploded parts diagram are part of the carb body and don't have separate part numbers. The Kawasaki service manual states "The carburetor body has plastic parts that cannot be removed. Do not use a strong carburetor cleaning solution that could attack these parts; instead use a mild high-flash point cleaning solution safe for plastic parts."

Discussions in the threads herein reference use of carb cleaner in spray can or bucket for soaking. Is this OK for the plastic parts, or are folks here using something else?

Nice to meet you all and thanks for your help.

In the past I've used Pinesol to clean carburetors and it did an excellent job
In January 2014, Clorox announced that Pine-Sol products would no longer contain pine oil, due to pine oil's limited supply and increased cost.
If you can find some old Pinesol that contains pine oil (check the contents label) it will do the job for you without damaging the plastic parts.

Thank you, dippin. I have spent a bit of time on your great website; very helpful!

I did a search and found some Pinesol alternatives containing pine oil. I'll report back if I find something with similar pre-2014 pine oil ingredients.

Mention of pine oil makes me think back to Denzel's "pine oil heaven" speech in Training Day.
