my bike won't start and every time i kick start it with the choke on all it will do is back fire out the carb and smoke i just took off the cylinder head toput in some o-rings and cleaned out the carb because when i would kick start it it would not do any thing now at least i get a back fire out of it and i check the timing and everything in the ignition sytem but it still doesnt start it's a 78' KL250 A1

the plug is brand new i got it last summer n only got to ride for a few days until i started having problem but its gaped right and its geting good start but the bike sounds like it wants to start but it just back fires and usually it backfires so hard it turns the choke off
