Hey all, new here and had my bike stolen a few months back. It's finally warm enough to work on it and I'm in need of some help.
Whoever did it broke the ignition switch assembly and I'm wondering where to buy a new one and if anyone has a good guide / youtube video to follow.
I'm looking at this kawasaki parts warehouse website that lists the ignition siwtch assembly for 160 bucks and the whole deal, gas cap, seat lock, etc for 430 bucks. I'm seeing the same things on
. Also does anyone know if the cable cut (shown in pic) is the starter cable or if it's the one attached to the switch assembly? I haven't taken it apart yet. Anyone have any guidance on whether I could buy the cheaper ones instead of spending $500? Any tips since I'm about to undergo this work?
