I just got a 2009 klx250s with 3.5k miles on it. Its my first bike since I was 12 and had kx65 so im a noob. My question/issue is when the bike is in neutral the idle kinda goes up and down slightly. Also it has stalled out while at a red-light in neutral twice and once in first. Also when I'm in like 4th or 5th cruising with the throttle in a static position sometimes it seems to hiccup. From reading I think it could be an air leak somewhere? The day after i got the bike the carb drain tube was just draining gas so I took the carb off and removed a tiny piece of debris from under the needle and put it back together so maybe I created an air leak somewhere when I put it back on? I tightened everything real tight and how it was. I'm completely clueless on troubleshooting with this I think it's an air/fuel issue but idk where to go from there. I took the carb out without removing the seat/tank/airbox so maybe when I put the tube from the airbox to the carb back I didn't fully seal it? I put the clamps on and there tight it appears sealed. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. This is literally my only transportation and I am strapped for money after buying it so I can't take it to a mechanic even if I wanted to for 2 weeks atleast.
