Just purchased the bike, and quickly noticed that the mph and mileage part of the cluster gauge was not working. This happened on my last bike and all I had to do is replace the speedometer cable, but since this ones electronic, I have no idea how to fix this. I would also like to know how to get rid of the red FI light that comes on from time to time. It comes on after getting on it, but not always.. Just changed the oil and still comes on. Any advice?

Have you checked the fuses and electrical connections to the dash?

 

Haven't checked fuses yet, but I have check the connection on the sprocket end. Nothing was gummed up to badly, and the connection looked okay. Due to the weather, I haven't been able to inspect it further. Just looking for feedback on what I should look for, thanks.
