RE: 2000 zr-7 crankcase help
hmm.. lemme look and gauge out the turbo motor... see if i can get the dimensions for ya..
the actual cad/cam specs are uber hard to find, since thats kawasaki's mealticket.. someone gets those specs, they can upload it into a DNC file converter program and crank out genuine kawi parts ona CNC.. not good for them.. thus the reason why specs are top-secret..lol BUT. i have a dial caliper and i know how to use it!! get back to ya in a day or so.. |

got it covered like a fat chick on a toilet seat, homey.
ok.. Attachment 26705 these are prolly a lil off.. the motor is sitting on the bench... exhaust-ports down.. this is what it SHOULD look like..lol (turn your head to side..) the pen points the needle bearing assembly. bearing is an NTN HK 1312 i didn't remove my bearing, so the o.d and depth may be a lil off.. but only a few thousands, max.. I.D.= .529"/13.45MM O.D.= about .7565"/19.22MM cage width= about.508"/12.90MM .. maybe 13.00 MM (hard to gauge..) top of bearing housing to flat of hole's base= .7085/18.00MM bearing housing O.D.= 1.043"/26.50MM outside end of race to bottom of the center of the hole=.850"/21.60MM shifter shaft O.D.= .5015"/12.97MM shaft end to washer= .6535"/16.60MM shaft O.A.L.= 3.815"/96.96MM the wear marks on the shaft show the edge of the rollers to sit at about .285"/7.26MM off the far end of the shifter shaft.. Attachment 26706 shifter shafe assembly in end plate.. Attachment 26707 shifter shaft.. not much to it.. Attachment 26708 and yes... my poor calipers have seen better days.. but, they're uber accurate and certified to be so.. |
