1st bike 1994 kawasaki ninja 250
 

what should the idle be set at. its around 1200. my oil lite is coming on. if i turn the idle up to around 2000 the oil lite goes off. any ideas.

do an oil change!!!!

thats the first thing you should do. chances are your filters soo clogged that you're not getting sufficient flow thru the motor.

idles gonna be around 1000 rpm or so i think.. it should say in the manual or on the underside of the seat with the other technical data..
