04 zx10 thermostat

I have an 04 zx10 and I need to replace the thermostat on it. I have no idea where it's at or how to replace it. Can someone please help??

Welcome to KF! I know nothing on the 04, but it should be the only thing on the radiator with wires on it. The manual will show you where it is and tell you how to remove it, test it and replace it. Pick one up, it will pay for itself on one repair. Good luck!

see page 4-15 of your service manual. There should be a manual listed in the manual section in the General Discussion Thread for this ride as well. Good luck

Why do you think that the stat needs replaced?
