Default Technical difficulties

Soooooo,

I have almost completed my rejuvenation of my 84 zn1100b ltd. one last obstacle to figure out is why I can't seem to get the stator to recharge my battery. I put it on the trickle charger, and can ride for a while. Ride it long enough and the battery dies! (10-12 starts usually kills the battery.). I have replaced both the Stator coil AND the voltage regulator, and the battery is new. (Solid state less than 6 months old)

I would love to take it on longer highway trips, but don't want to get stranded with no juice in the battery. Open to suggestions!

Short rides, with the lights on, riding at low RPM can tend toward your situation
make sure the battery voltage increases as you increase RPM. If not then the rectifier is bad.
