Default She Finnally Fell!!!!!!!!!!

My bike hit the ground yesterday.
All my buddies sitting in the parking lot, A girl i was taking out for a was ride sitting on my passenger seat. i told her if she was going to sit there without me on it that she couldnt move around but of course she didnt listen and the biked tipped over. more mad at myself for letting it happen but glad all that happened to the bike was broken foot peg some really small scratches on the lower fairing and my windscreen has a few scuffs on it from i have no idea what.

The good that has come from this is i have wanted to get gold foot pegs to match the gold forks on my bike. so now here is an excuse to get a set of them. any help as to how you guys got some light scratches out of the plastics would be very helpfull thanks in advance guys.

gs 27 scratch remover works pretty well on light scratches. It just takes a lot of patience and elbow grease.

Sorry to hear about the bike, but it sounds like you got a plan, let us know how it turns out...with pics of course. Before and after.

If they're very light, use a towel and some toothpaste. It's a fine polish (though intended for your teeth), so it takes a while, but it does a good job. It's safe for your paint too and washes off with water. Matter of fact, using it on your paint will give you a great shine (and the more times you do it the better the shine) and it's not as harsh as rubbing compound.

If it's heavier, go to WalMart or your local auto parts store and get a kit that is made to polish the plastic headlight covers on cars. They should know what you're talking about. I've used the Turtle Wax kit and it works well. It'll have everything you need in the kit and it'll works wonders. It'll remove cloudiness and fogging usually too. It just can't do much with deeper scratches and gouges.

Um, Pastor dude, will it prevent cavities, too?

As for you 178004682, lesson learned? NEVER let a non-biker (I don't care what short term benefit you may get out of it) sit on your ride unattended.

Hope everything works out.
