Default oil

hiya, i have a 1986 z250t scorpian, aka er250, not really sure what oil to use, i know kawasaki recommend bel-ray but cant find a 10w/40 vtwin semi synth. i was just wondering if a bel-ray10w/50 vtwin semi synthetic oil, will beokay to putin it? appreaciate your replyif anyonecan help me on this.

I have not tried the Bel Ray oils. Amsoil has a vtwin synthetic.

I have run bel-ray when I had to make an oil change andthe shop was put of my brand (castrol). Itseemed pretty good, but was pricy for an "off" brand.

I have been usind their chain wax for years and it seems like a good product as well.
