The Ninja 650R vs. GSX 650F thread...
So im thinking about getting a new bike either next year or in 09. I currently ride a 04 Ninja 250 and love it.
But I would like to move up to a 650cc bike. Now I like Kawi's but the next bike I get I plan on keeping it for more then 3 years. So with that said the next 2 bikes im considering are Ninja 650 and the new GSX-650F.
Ninja is lighter around 100lbs, and I love the Kawi Green
But it has a parallel twin which is allright.
GSX-650F has an inline-4, which I love the sound of, and I like the styling better. Has a gear indicator which is just cool and a fuel gauge, and a bigger fuel tank.
Now the 100 extra pounds is a lot when riding especially since I am 5'11 but only 135lbs so I don't have a lot of weight to throw around.
The Ninja problably gets better fuel mileage. The only reason I care about fuel mileage is I mostly commute with the bike 30 mile round trip 4 to 5 days a week. But I will be keeping the Ninja 250 so I will problably switch back and fourth between the bikes.
Has anyone ridden the GSX-650F yet I can't really find much online about people who actually own one.
Thanks

If you like the bandit, then you may like this one. Although 100lbs is a 100lbs.

Well when the time come I will have to sit on both and see how they feel.
