Need help making a tank cam mount for a digital camera.

You and your rockstars! I should try one of those sometime. they must be pretty good.

I think once I get a tank bag, I will fabricate something to work with the camera. I REALLY don't want a mount that would bolt up to any part of my bikes. And like I already said above, my 750 doesn't have bolts on the outside of gas cap.

Have you thought about magnets? I woud have a look at those smaller tabletop style tripods. Maybe you could find a way to mount magnets on the feet. That would solve the bolt dilema, plus, it would easy to remove. And it would more stable than a tank bag. Just a thought.

I would think all you would really need is a screw that fits your camera($0.02 at any hardware store), stick it through a piece of cardboard or just something hard to keep it stable then stick it through a small hole in the top of your tankbag, but that would only work if the bag was full. Let us know what you get.
