Default My dad finally got a ride

I knew this would happen eventually. Ever since he took my KLX250s for a drive, he's been having a mid-life crisis. So after he hunted for a few weeks, he finally found that one motorcycle he used to ride with his dad. Its a 1985 Honda NightHawk 650. It is a nice ride, except, its a real tweeker. Its been dropped a few times and has a couple of issues. But it does drive like a bat out of hell. So it would figure the nickname for his new ride is "Tweek". But he is happy, and thats all that really matters. It will be his project and joy ride.

And I'll still ride my little thumper 250. Thou now a pipe may be in the order.

Why didn't he get a used DS bike? Tell him he's missing out.

Yeah, my dad isn't in the whole dirt scene. Much less a dual sport. But he doesn't want acrouch rocker or a v-twin cruiser. This Honda NightHawk is the forefather before the sport bikes but with the same engine thats in them. An I-4 623cc, air-cooled, DOHC 2-valve (I think), with a 6speed tranny. So put together, its a sport's bike engine on a cruiser chassis. Not to menition 4x carbs to tune. [&:]. I like my single carb on the KLX.

As for now. His bike is going toneed a lot of TLC. We just keep finding one thing after another. And I just keep reminding him, its a project in the making.
