MSF ERC and Sportbike Rider Course
Anybody here ever take the MSF Experienced rider course? I'm signed up for it in April and was just wondering what to expect. I'm also signed up the the Military Sportbike rider course; anyone have any input on that? I'm in the Coast Guard and we have to do these courses to ride on base. So, since it's a mandatory thing I get off work for a day and get to go ride around in Key West...
A bad day riding beats a good day at work!

I'm actally in Islamorada. It's 2 hours north of key west but still in the keys. It's just as tough as you think it is... Good riding weather all year round. South Beach is only an hour away. Man, it's rough! We kinda trade off the good weather for bad roads (no twisties down here)
So what's this Sportbike rider course all about? Is it just more of the BRC? Or are we gonna get to do some cool stuff?
I don't wanna sound like the BRC was bad or anything but, doing more of the same would be boring I think.

the sportbike course goes into basic suspension setup...4 stages of braking...cornering (body positioning vs draggin knee) bike handling...all of this is done at higher speeds than what is done in BRC/ERC...after all these are sportbike

Sounds like it's gonna be a good time. I'm really stoked for this course now!
I don't know how much I'm gonna get out of the suspension setup for the 650 though but, who knows maybe I'll be surprised.
