Lane position?
the most visable position to other cars on the road. If I'm not around any other cars and the ground isn't wet, I usually just cruise in the middle. If the ground is wet, I try to ride just right of the center of the road assuming there are no other variables.
What he said...
I tend to change position quite a bit if there are cars, just so that everyone sees me.
And remember to avoid the slippery-center-of-lane-of-death strip that tends to form in the middle of all lanes at intersections from oil dropping off of cars. All that oil can be slippery even when it's dry out. So try to stick to one side or the other, whatever works best for visability & conditions.
