Although, I haven't been very active on the forums, this site (and ninja250.org) have been very helpful. I do appreciate all the knowledge contained here.
So, I sold my Ninja 250 which I used to re-familiarize myself with riding and to take the DMV test. I honestly tried to stay in the Kawi family, but ended up picking up an '03 CBR 600RR.. black, all black.
Here are the specs for those interested:
8,400 miles (roughly)
Scotts steering damper
Steel-braided brake lines
Frame Sliders
Smoked windscreen...........$6,500
The pain in my tailbone.......Priceless![:@]
I enjoyed my stay.. hope we can still be friends.

Oh I'm sure we can still be friends - lots of other folks here have non-kawi bikes but still have a love for Kawi!

aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww dude WTF [&o] J/K it's alright if some one put a gun to my head and made me pick another kind of bike CBR is not a bad choice anyway have fun.

Thanks.. I'll get some pics up soon. I'll always have love for Kawi's. I haven't emotionally detached myself from her yet.. lol
I'll still be around for the interesting topics and to pick up general MC tips. I definitely see a Ninja 500 in my future (for the wife), maybe next year. I'm kicking myself for not buying Meleny's (Vasmel22) but I hadn't sold mine yet.

Not true, I smoked a ZX-14 last night. I'm at the stoplight minding my own biznatch when a shiny new Kawi pulls up to my left. From my side mirror, I had already taken notice of the tribal armband tattoo and Corona tanktop. I look over at him and thru the clear visor on his Bell Wal-Mart helmet, I can see him smirking at me. I turn back to see the cross traffic light turn yellow...red. With lighting-quick speed, I reach over and slap his engine cut-off switch, kick it into first, and I'm gone!

He would've still caught me easily if he hadn't got his flip-flops caught in his pegs.
Of course, this is all B.S.
