Default I really need a jacket now...

In the valley, thursday is the gathering night..... so i'm at work and was outside on break when i realize that my tire is showing belts..... i figure if i'm gonna go out tonight and stunt i better get me a new tire..... well i go to the stealership, buy a 208 and have'em install it for me..... I get it back and just barely get out of the shop when the bike glides out..... i try and hold it straight and it starts coming back but low and behold it glides out to the other side, this time to far..... i let go and it slaps the concrete I hit face first (thank god for helmets) and roll over.... long story short, my jackets screwed, i got a little rash on my hip, hands and waist..... the bike, not too bad, just a little rash herself on the rear and front fairing, a small dent and rash on the tank and a broken mirror..... THIS SUCKS..... i hate new tires...[sm=headbang.gif]..... i would post some pics but my (new) digicam was in my back pack which was hit by a passing car, good thing i wasn't attached to it, which is about the only good thing to come out of this.....

That really sux, but you OK and the bike isn't a write off. Gotta hate the scrub period on new tires.

Damn! New tires do indeed suck. Good to hear you're OK though!

Fortunately the only new tires I've had so far were on the new bike I got, so I was being _really_ careful on them for the first bit, especially during break-in. I'll probably be a bit nervous when it's time to replace them next year.
