Thanks everyone for your replies. Ive been riding about 20 miles a day and practicing everything. I have already completed the MSF. And now after a lot of attempts with gorilla glue and JB weld, I think I'm going to have to buy some new parts. Does any one know a good place to buy parts for an 88 EX500

Thats just wrong. Hilarious tho'!! DRH, Ebay has 1206 listings of parts for an ex500. Lotsa fairing pieces. If you can't find one there, Maier makes lots of pieces at decent pricing. Hope that helps..
