i was curious about how often most of you guys and girls wash your bike......also do you wax it and what products do you use......

 

Honda polish and almost every time i go to get on her i shine her up.

 

how well does that make her shine....i use meguires scratch x to remove the swirls then follow it up with meguires ntx wax...well i think thats what its called...well it shines up nice

 

this crap is great. it cleans polishes and u can use it to remove chain lube road grim or to clean your visor. I love it works on everything,

 

i think i might have to go pick me up a bottle or 2....how much does it cost...and where do you get this magical stuff

yup, +1 on the honda polish....

 

yeah thats it but its over priced there. My local stealership sells it for around $6.50 to 7.50 a big can. walmart has the soft towels in a pack for like $4.

 

I don't wash it everytime I go out, usually its every second time or so, unless its really dirty. I use Simple Green to wash the bike and when I wax it I use Turtle Wax premium something (it works awesome!)

I also use Plexus, it is awesome stuff - I use it on my windscreen and helmet visor.

 

i wash mine every 15 minutes..... or everytime i look at my bike.... which is every 5 minutes..... then i use 300 grit sandpaper and some water to clean her up..... then some WD 40 for a nice shine.... and i hit the tires with armor all...... lol lol lol J/K boy and girls.... i use lemon pledge on my tires..... and to top it off, you gotta have a tree to keep it smelling nice......
