Passed my riding skills test today so I officially have my license. So to celebrate I went to Leer's (our local kawasaki dealer) and started looking around for something to replace the KE100. It's a great bike to head back and forth to work, but that's about it! I'd love to get a 650r Ninja, but for insurance reasons I think I might settle for me second choice, KLR650. Now, to talk the wife into it!

 

just go buy it and bring it home, whats she gonna say

 

Isn't the KLR kinda big? Plush but big. I could not ride that on my trails, well, could but not like I prefer.

oops, forgot about the woman. A sorry will or may do. I did an oops today after my parts/labor and dyno were done. OOPS!

As for the comment on the size of the KLR up a few posts. It fits me really well, plus I can't get in as much trouble with it as I would a Ninja and the insurance is so much cheaper just because it's not classified as a Sport bike. I will mainly be using it to cruise back and forth to work, bum around town, use it at the drag strip for a pit bike along with the KE, and play around my friends cow pasture with. So it fits the bill really well.
